Motel 6-Wichita, Ks - Airport

The room I first checked into had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, despite being a supposed non-smoking room. There were burn holes on the sheets and bugs that resembled cockroaches, alarming. Luckily, the staff quickly moved me to a more modern second-floor room. That room was significantly better, clean and comfortable. No fresh towels or bedding changed , leaving me uncertain about the service protocols. Although the area felt a bit sketchy with some questionable characters around, I must say the manager was very accommodating and friendly throughout my stay. I appreciate that it is pet-friendly, but the designated area for dogs was problematic due to its proximity to the dumpster and cleanliness issues.

The quitness was good and when I realized there was no microwave the staff put my food in the office one.

There was no coffee machine or microwave in the room.

Glad we were passing through the city and staying only one night.

We asked for a quiet room, got a room right in front of pool with screaming kids. One bed had no linen, just bare mattress. Can't believe it. Got moved over to a handicap room, found 3 dead cocroaches on the bathroom floor - as if it hadn't been cleaned for a while.

The bed was comfortable. the room was clean. for $40 it was a great hotel.

Had wonderful stay on a long road trip with efficient staff and favourable location right near the airport. Booked a room with 2 beds. Location: the hotel was near to downtown and the zoos, shopping areas, and many stores and dennys.

For a quieter stay, request a room away from the front entrance as noise from the street and other guests can be disruptive.

The grounds were filthy and full of trash.

Unexpectedly Stressful Stay

The staff seemed overwhelmed, and I felt rushed. I appreciated the clean room and efficient checkout process. I recommend confirming reservations directly before arrival to ensure everything goes smoothly.

Amazing hotel with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and an outdoor swimming pool. The staff once helped me print tickets during my first stay, and I appreciate the friendly service. I'll definitely be back for a weekend!

Room had a spacious feel and was well lit. Great for families with kids. The pool area was neat and clean!

The location was really convenient, just a short drive from the airport, and there were stores nearby for snacks and essentials. The second room we were given was quite modern and comfortable. The hotel also has a pet-friendly policy, a bonus for our family as we traveled with our dog.
